What is the difference between DIN 3771 and AS568 O-ring sizes?
DIN 3771 is the German metric system — O-rings are specified by ID × CS in millimetres (e.g., 40 × 3.5 means 40mm inner diameter, 3.5mm cord section). AS568 is the American inch system — O-rings are specified by a dash number from a standard table (e.g., -214 corresponds to 1.359″ ID × 0.139″ CS).
